The testing/bugfix of the Public Demo will last until the end of September. The demo would require not too much of your time. You will play tutorials and several missions. I think about 6-10 hours for playing and reporting or a little more if you decide to formulate your comments on the gameplay/usability and etc.
We would like to note again that this is an unpaid volunteer opportunity for Pacific Storm enthusiasts. And it will be only your moral obligations that will make you remain focused on the project until the end of the test. In return, well provide you a personal copy of a fresh Public Demo build of Pacific Storm and will give you an opportunity to try the game before its official release. If you would then need a letter of recommendation for a testing/Q position, wed gladly provide you with such.
We are looking for a limited group of testers (20-30). I understand, you all want to try the game and I wish we could enlist you all but please understand our choice when it comes to it. We wont be able to handle large group of testers, it will become a burden for us and will eventually hinder the release of the game simply because of the paperwork. Our requirements may seem tough but we want to be sure in the people we involve in the development process and that the test--taking our precious time before game release--will give results.
We have full-time Russian testing team but we would like to have international testers of the game able to note bugs/gameplay issues that either we don't see because we are used to the game or we don't notice because of our cultural peculiarities and gaming preferences.
PS: And English not necessarily must be your native language, all international enthusiasts are welcome. However, you should display good command of English. _________________ homo ludens

As much as I would like to help test Ulixes I will not be doing so. I will wait for the demo and play that until the full release but don't have that much time to invest in it yet. I wish the testors well and hope they work out as many if not all the bugs possible (however unlikely) so that we can have a bug free game released

Same for me Brashin. I have plenty of gaming experience and time (I'm on disability for medical reasons) but have testing experience only with the Linspire operating system. I don't want them wasting time reading my useless resume when they could be doing more productive work.
(If any of the Mods here think otherwise, I will submit a resume.)

The group of testers (about 30 talented individuals) has been selected. Stay alert for further announcements. You'll be sent a personal email that you are now in the testing team. I think on Monday we'll start distributiong game copies. You'll be also given access to a bug tracking forum.
Those who received an email that there is some info missing in your resume please reply to the email from the development team a.s.a.p.
If you are not in the lucky list please take it with due understanding. Thank you for your interest and taking part. In either case you'll soon have a chance to try the public demo. _________________ homo ludens

There are some chosen applicants that have troubles sending NDA via fax or they don't have a scanner or available digital camera. If you fall into this category, please send me at least an email telling that you've read the agreement and agree to it. _________________ homo ludens
