fighter doesn't have ammo?

I do have more than 70000 tons of ammo at each harbor/port, but neither P-51 nor F4U has ammo AT ALL, all other planes/ships has 100% ammo loaded, what was the reason?

i noticed that too i think the default load for fighters is machine gun ammo with drop tanks you can change the ammo loadout to include bombs or rockets on most. i guess machine gun ammo doent count because my fighters always show loaded when in a battle but no ammo on the warehouse screen

Try selecting the unit in the Base menu on the Stragetic level, and tell it to take on an ammo load. This should load the ammo on the unit. The only exception to this is if the unit is aslo loaded with iron and/or aluminum. This would have to be unloaded first, then the ammo would load. This thing with aircraft being loaded with resuorces happend when a carrier is in a transport group, and you load resources onto the entire group. The carrier air group is listed at the top of the formation, and loads the items first, then the carrier itself, and any escort units, and finally the transports. To get around this, select only the transports from the entire group, and then load the resources.
